Winemaking:

Handpicked grapes. Seven days of maceration with fermentation at temperatures up to 25°C. After alcoholic fermentation, wine underwent partial malolactic fermentation. Twenty four months of wine aging in used French and American oak barrels and casks of 2.000-5.000 litres.

 

Tasting notes:

Intensive garnet red with hints of violet. The aroma is showing characteristics of small berries forest fruits, sour cherry with smoky tones.

 

Full bodied wine with expressed sweet tannins and savoury taste. Showing complexity of fruit flavours, tobacco leaves. A persistent aftertaste.
