The very foundation of this collection lies in carefully selected, hand-harvested grapes from the sun-drenched, unique terraced vineyards of the Vipava Valley. Our specific winemaking approach ensures these wines retain the full richness of their varietal character while profoundly expressing the influence of the very location where the grapes ripened. You too can embark on a sensory adventure and tour one of the largest and oldest wine cellars in Slovenia – Vipava 1894, complete with a wine tasting. As you stroll among the oak barrels, our wine expert will share the fascinating story of the cellar's origins. If you're lucky, they might even "unveil" a few small secrets behind the production of Vipava 1894's premium wines. The entire guided cellar tour and wine tasting lasts approximately one hour. Afterwards, you'll have the opportunity to purchase selected Vipava 1894 wines, allowing you to relive the story of our flavors at home or delightfully surprise friends and acquaintances with a bottle of your chosen wine.
