Ventus wines, fresh and distinctly varietal, are born from the burja. They are perfectly playful yet at the same time, elegantly rounded.

Pridelana so s tradicionalnimi postopki, ki so se desetletja uporabljali in razvijali v Vipavski dolini, ob pomoči sodobne tehnologije. Vina Ventus imajo specifičen značaj, saj se v Vipavski dolini srečujeta celinsko-alpska in mediteranska klima. V vinih Ventus so enologi uspešno združili najboljše kar da narava s svojim znanjem in izkušnjami.
Namenjena so tistim ljubitljem vrhunske kapljice, ki prepoznajo sortnost in cenijo poreklo vina.

Scent: 
Intense, with sensations of dried fruit intertwined with prominent sweet spices and traces of dried chamomile.

Palate: Medium-bodied, beautifully composed, and mineral.

Pairing Suggestions: Zelen is a good accompaniment to stews, fish, pasta, and grilled vegetables.

Scent: Powerful. Aromas of lemon zest, acacia, and green almond are prominent. Hints of dried apple and cinnamon complete the bouquet.

Palate: The palate is fuller-bodied with a noticeable weight. Acidity is well-integrated, leading to a delightful saline, mineral sensation. The finish is soft and lingering, leaving a gentle aromatic impression.

Pairing Suggestions: Excellent with fish and grilled fish, as well as seafood risottos. Also pairs wonderfully with rich, creamy soups and grilled white meats.

Palate: A Chardonnay of youthful character. With a medium-bodied flavour and restrained acids, it is soft. The wine develops aromas of white fruit and lasts for a long time.

Pairing Suggestions: Creamy soups, soft cheeses (especially goat's milk), and fish dishes with herbs like trout, salmon, prawns, or shrimp.
It also pairs well with grilled white meat.

NoseIntense. Notes of elderflower, passionfruit, and tomato leaf are distinct on the nose.

Palate: Medium-bodied with pronounced aromas of tropical fruits. Fresh and sparkling, with a genuine structure.

Pairing Suggestions: Kot aperitiv, mladi siri, zelenjavne jedi, testenine z morskimi sadeži.

Variety: 100 % Sauvignon Blanc

Scent: Ripe pineapple, baked apples, and butter are present, with subtle undertones of dried lemon zest.

Palate: Mehak, kremaste teksture, z močno aromo. Nežna kislost vino ohranja živahno. Prvi občutek je sladkoben, poln. Spremlja ga dolga sadna aroma. 

Pairing Suggestions: We recommend it with white meat or richer fish accompanied by creamy sauces. It also pairs well with grilled fatty meats.

Scent: Varietal and Muscadine. It boasts a distinctly varietal aroma, dominated by a captivating muscat scent that hints at a sweet and elegant taste. 

Palate: Sweet, fresh, light, and elegant. On the palate, it feels effortlessly light and vibrant, leaving a beautiful and lingering finish.

Pairing Suggestions: Aperitif, desserts (cakes, ice cream, fruit tarts).

V e n t u s B a r b e r a

This grape variety thrives exclusively in Slovenia's Vipava Valley. Grown on sun-drenched, clay-sandy terraces, it yields a vibrant, ruby-red dry wine with aromatic notes of plum and wild berries.

Scent: Fresh, varietally fruity, with a predominant aroma of blackcurrant.

Palate:  The wine is rich and full-bodied. Its freshness comes from a slightly higher acidity, while the tannins are soft, pleasant, and beautifully integrated into the wine.

Pairing Suggestions: Pasta, mushroom risottos, and main courses featuring pork.

Variety: 100 % Barbera

Temperature: 15-18 °C

V e n t u s M o d r i p i n o t

Scent: Blackberry, plum jam, "cigar box," and truffle.

Palate:Medium-bodied and well-balanced. The tannins are pronounced yet soft, beautifully integrating into the wine.
The wine unfolds slowly on the palate, accompanied by a sour cherry aroma, and lingers beautifully with a long finish.

Pairing Suggestions: Pinot noir pairs well with
rich pumpkin soup, grilled fish and seafood, lamb, mature cheeses, and sautéed mushrooms.

Variety: 100 % Modri pinot

Temperature: 15-18 °C

V e n t u s M e r l o t

Merlot is the most widely planted grape variety in the Vipava Valley. The warm and dry conditions here allow it to achieve high sugar levels while still retaining the varietal's characteristic aromas of red fruit.

Scent: Black cherry, redcurrant, and cranberry. Notes of red fruit jam, with hints of cocoa.

Palate: Full-bodied, quite robust, and well-structured. It reveals an aroma of dark
fruit, and the medium-firm tannins give the wine its length. The wine is harmonious.

Pairing Suggestions: Merlot pairs well with a wide range of foods, especially grilled poultry and all types of seasoned red meat. It also complements cured meats beautifully.

V e n t u s C a b e r n e t S a u v i g n o n

Scent: Sour cherry, blackcurrant, and ripe plum. Undertones of green bell pepper and subtle coffee notes.

Palate: Medium-bodied with a prominent flavor profile. It offers a pleasant fruity sensation balanced by pronounced tannins. A dark fruit aroma lingers on the finish, which is beautifully velvety.

Pairing Suggestions: Grilled red meats, hearty stews, aged cheeses, or mushroom dishes.
