Malvasia is a medium-flavoured variety that has been cultivated in Vipava for centuries. Malvasia 'Terase' is a macerated wine, matured in wooden barrels.
Nose: Powerful. Prominent notes of lemon zest, acacia, and green almond are present, with hints of dried apple and cinnamon.
Palate: Full and pronounced. A touch of acidity maintains its vibrancy and fruity character. The long finish is accompanied by a distinctive varietal aroma.
Pairing Suggestions: Malvazija with a strong character can be offered with a wide range of white meats, including fattier roasted fish. It also pairs well with pasta or octopus and seafood salads.
