Chardonnay-Pinot Blanc Vipava is a pleasant, fresh and elegant quality wine with a medium-bodied palate.
It is a combination of two related grape varieties that blend to form a harmonious, lighter wine with a fruity character.

Variety: 60 % chardonnay, 40 % pinot blanc

Grape growing and winemaking details:
  • Vineyard: Terraced vineyards.
  • Harvest: By hand.
  • Maceration: /
  • Fermentation: In stainless steel vats at a temperature of 18 ºC.
  • Maturation: In stainless steel vats.

Wine description:
  • Colour: Light yellow with undertones of green.
  • Nose: Fresh, fruity, reminiscent of citruses and peaches.
  • Palate: Fresh flavour, medium-bodied palate.
  • Harmony: Pleasantly fresh with elegant balance.
  • Ageing potential: Up to 3 years.

Wine parameters:
  • Alcohol: 13 %vol.
  • Sugar content: Dry, 1,4 g/l of residual sugar.
  • Total acidity: 4,8 g/l.
  • Serving temperature: 10 – 12 ºC.
  • Marriage of food and wine: Turkey, poultry, fresh cheese in salt water, vegetable dish.
