Malvasia Lanthieri
Malvasia Lanthieri is a wine of superior quality made from the grapes of old vines situated in the Bilje Low Hils.
We've poured the riches of these grapes from the carefully cultivated vineyard into a rich, elegant and matured wine that fascinates with its clean varietal fruity aroma and full flavour.

Variety: 100 % Malvasia
Grape growing and winemaking details:
- Vineyard: The Bilje Low Hills, single Guyot.
- Harvest: 10th October 2005.
- Maceration: Short cold maceration.
- Fermentation: Controlled cold fermentation at 12 ºC, partially malolactic fermentation.
- Maturation: 15% in barriques, 85% in stainless steel vats, 5 months on fine lees.
Wine description:
- Colour: Golden yellow colour.
- Nose: Intense varietal aroma is reminiscent of fruit and flower undertones of linden and acacia.
- Palate: Full, rich, lightly sweet, warm, smooth, ripe.
- Harmony: Elegant balance of freshness and maturity.
- Ageing potential: Up to 8 years.
Wine parameters:
- Alcohol: 13,0 %vol.
- Sugar content: Dry, 2,7 g/l of residual sugar.
- Total acidity: 5,5 g/l.
- Serving temperature: 10 – 12 ºC.
- Marriage of food and wine: Seafood dishes, pasta, risotto, white meat, veal.
