Welschriesling Vipava

Our Welschriesling Vipava is harmonious and fresh. It has a pleasant taste with a gentle varietal aroma. Besides the noticeable varietal characteristics we can also sense shades of ripe tropical fruit.

The wine is balanced and has a medium-bodied palate.

Wine description:

Colour: When young, this wine has a greenish yellow colour. With ageing it slowly acquires some undertones of golden yellow and gold.
Nose: Lemon, maturing apples, various flowers.
Palate: Pleasantly fresh, fruity and medium-bodied palate.
Harmony: Harmonious lighter wine.
Ageing potential: Up to 3 years.

Alcohol: 12,5 %vol.
Sugar content: Dry, 4,0 g/l of residual sugar.
Total acidity: 5,2 g/l.
Serving temperature: 10 – 12 ºC.
Marriage of food and wine: Grilled mushrooms, blue fish, carp, sheatfish, chicken, quails, roast goose, turkey, pork, veal.
