Vrtovčan Vipava
Vrtovčan Vipava is a wine blend made to introduce a new vintage. It is therefore a young wine, made out of typical varieties from the Vipava Valley - Malvasia, Zelen and Sauvignon.
The wine has a fresh character complemented with a mixture of floral and herbal scents It is mid-full bodied, smooth and well balanced.

Grape growing and winemaking details:
  • Vineyard: Terraced vineyards.
  • Harvest: End of August, beginning of September.
  • Maceration: /
  • Fermentation: Controlled at a temperature of 18 ºC.
  • Maturation:

Wine description:
  • Colour: Straw yellow with shades of green.
  • Nose: Fresh citrus scents complemented with supplemented with vegetal and herbal notes.
  • Palate: Its flavour is full, soft, warm and at the same time fresh.
  • Harmony: A pleasant combination of scents and flavours. Its moderate acidity and slightly higher sugar content are like a harmonious bouquet of flowers.
  • Ageing potential: 5 years.

Wine parameters:
  • Alcohol: 12,5 %vol.
  • Sugar content: 4,0 g/l of residual sugar.
  • Total acidity: 5,2 g/l.
  • Serving temperature: 9 – 11 ºC.
