Cabernet Sauvignon Lanthieri is a wine with a rich and elegant body. Its full flavour is rounded off by velvety tannins.
With ageing the wine has developed an elegant aroma and a harmoniously balanced flavour.

Variety: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon

Grape growing and winemaking details:
  • Vineyard: Terraced vineyards.
  • Harvest: First week of October.
  • Maceration: At the same time as fermentation; ten days at a temperature below 30 ºC.
  • Fermentation: /
  • Maturation: 30% in barriques, 70% in large oak barrels.

Wine description:
  • Colour: Ruby red with shades of garnet.
  • Nose:Intense varietal aroma reminiscent of bilberries and dried plums. We can also sense notes of chocolate, vanilla and oak from new barrels.
  • Palate: The full and long flavour offers a mixture of fruity character, velvety tannins and vegetal flavours.
  • Harmony: Well balanced wine with low acidity and soft yet rich tannins.
  • Ageing potential: 10 years and more.

Wine parameters:
  • Alcohol: 12,5 %vol.
  • Sugar content: 3,2 g/l of residual sugar.
  • Total acidity: 5,3 g/l.
  • Serving temperature: 16 – 18 ºC.
  • Marriage of food and wine: Roast beef or roast pork, soups with dried meet, beefsteak, spicy hard cheeses.
