Pinot Blanc Ventus
Pinot Blanc Ventus is a fresh and fruity wine with a pleasant rich flavour.
It is widely accepted and renowned for its flavour complexity and its unique and seductive bouquet. The wine has been a constant pleasure for those who favour wines with gentle acidity.

Variety: 100 % Pinot Blanc
Grape growing and winemaking details:
- Vineyard: Terraced vineyards.
- Harvest: Harvested by hand, second week of September.
- Maceration: A shorter cold maceration of crushed grapes.
- Fermentation: Two weeks at a temperature of 16 ºC.
- Maturation: 5% in American barriques, the rest in stainless steel vats. Maturation on fine lees till New Year.
Wine description:
- Colour: Deep golden yellow colour.
- Nose: Varietal, reminiscent of apples, grapefruit and lemon with hints of vanilla.
- Palate: The wine has a full, gentle and aromatic taste with predominating flavours of ripe fruit (lemon and grapefruit with a subtle taste of blossoms) and a subtle note of oak.
- Harmony: Harmonious, warm. Long aftertaste.
- Ageing potential: Up to 5 years.
Wine parameters:
- Alcohol: 13,0 %vol.
- Sugar content: Dry, 2,3g/l of residual sugar.
- Total acidity: 5,4 g/l.
- Serving temperature: 10 – 12 ºC.
- Marriage of food and wine: Gnocchi, lasagne, pasta, mushrooms, gilthead sea bream, scorpion fish, trout, roast goose, goose liver, semi matured cheese (Nanos cheese with a vegetable dish), roasted maize porridge with cheese and smoked ham.
