Barbera Ventus
Barbera is wein which is founded only in Vipava valley in Slovenia.
On the clay-sand hilly, sunny slopes, it gives us a lively, red ruby wein with the taste of plum and small red fruit.

Variety: 100 % Barbera
Grape growing and winemaking details:
- Vineyard: Terraced vineyards
- Harvest: By hand, late Septembre.
- Maceration: Six days at temparatures below 26ºC.
- Fermentation: In stainless steel at temparature 20 - 25ºC.
- Maturation: 8 months.
Wine description:
- Colour: Intense ruby red with shades of violet.
- Nose: It thrills us with an exceptional fruit aroma, especially small red fruits like currants, blueberries and plums.
- Palate: Wine has rich and full body. Due to higher acidity has a special freshness, tannins are soft and nicely rounded the wine.
- Harmony: Wine is harmonious, the freshness is apparent from a slightly higher acidity characteristic of this variety, variety Barbera.
- Ageing potential: 3 - 5 years.

- Total acidity: 5,9 g/l
- Serving temperature: 14 - 16ºC.
