The vineyard in Kromberk has a southern position and thus enjoys sunshine all day long. 60 hectares of land stretches over a slope which reaches between 60 to 100 metres above sea level. The ground is made up of flysch, that is permeable marlstone, which is one of the best possible soils for vineyards. In Kromberk, the Mediterranean and continental climates mingle – from the west we have the influence of the sea, while on the north the terrain gradually rises towards the Trnovo plateau.
In Kromberk vineyard we grow the following varieties:

• red: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon,

• white: Malvasia, Rebula, Welschriesling.
