We are celebrating our 100th birthday. Yes, the Vipava Dairy celebrates its 100th birthday. We could say that we are seniors on this field but years have only helped us to become even more vital, active and keen.  What is the key to our success? We have a special recipe. Every morning we drink one of our probiotic Bifidus yoghurts that boosts our immune system and keeps us healthy. Do you still remember that Bifidus was the first Slovene probiotic yoghurt? Yes. It is the first yoghurt containing the beneficial bacterial cultures Bifidobacterium lactis and Lactobacillus acidophilus. It is made from milk that comes exclusively from domestic milk production. Thus with Bifidus every morning we draw ourselves a milky moustache and start the day healthy and strong. We recommend the recipe to you, because we know it works.


For our 100th birthday we got ourselves a new “dress”

You have to admit that in order to look good everybody wants to have a new dress for a special occasion. The more colourful it is, the more beautiful it looks. For our 100th birthday we have taken care for our new image and numerous dairy products Yoviland have been dressed in new “clothes” - new cups. Now they are even more colourful and have a more elegant shape with the well-known letter "Y" and .. there's more of them together. It's true, we now have twins, quadruplets. Every member of the family can now grab a cup with his or her own special flavour. Or you can simply pamper yourself with a different flavour on different days. 

But the exterior is far from being the only novelty. The products also have a new content. Some of the products have a better and richer flavour, some of them are completely new. A completely new line of dairy products is for example YOYO that is made especially for children: fruit cottage cheese, fruit yoghurt and pudding, all three with added calcium. Quality: The milk that we use in the Vipava Dairy comes from the natural environment where the favourable climate and good soil composition promise quality raw material. Our milk comes from the Kras, Vipava Valley, Trnovo plateau and the Postojna district. This milk has a high mineral content (especially calcium) giving the Yoviland products a high nutritional value.

The Vipava Dairy belongs to the group of smaller Slovene dairies. We combine a rich tradition that comes from the knowledge of our ancestors and innovative approaches complemented by modern technology. On the basis of new scientific knowledge our strategy is to further develop our production and take care of the customers by offering them healthy and tasty Yoviland dairy products.
